        La Huu Da is one of the founding members of WINCO and the head of the firm. 

        After receiving his PhD in Biology from Vietnam National University Hanoi in 1974, he studied at Moscow Patent Law Institute. 

        After his over 20 years serving at the Department of Planning and Technological Science at the National Center for Science and Technology of Vietnam, he joined WINCO. He has highly specialized in providing technical assistance to litigation counsel in patent infringement, impeachment actions and advisory service of investment and technological transfer, intellectual property matters including preparation and prosecution of patent applications in biology, genetics, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, electronics and computer technology. In particular, he has represented clients ranging from independent inventors to large corporate entities in their patent procurement. He has given numerous lectures at universities and international seminars on intellectual property law. 

        He is a member of APAA (Asian Patent Attorney Association), INTA (International Trademark Association) and ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association).
